I have also been quite busy and having to push my project back due to mental health and simple burn out.

Tried playing Fortnite for the first time in years, and my god the settings suck in this game. Like I get that investors just want to milk people for their money but like do a better job! You have a lot of people working under you and you cannot even make the game have more graphical settings?!

People really don't understand how commerical art is made. Like, so often I see fans wax nostalgically about some game or movie studio that used to make bangers and only makes trash now without really acknowledging those studios likely have none of the creatives at them that made them great anymore.

I would also like to add that they were backwards compatible! Now they are designed to be even harder to play games unless you pay them. (Again for something you cannot physically own) I hate this concept, what if you no longer have access to your account? Got to buy everything over again, not fun..

I'm glad I stopped playing new Nintendo games! Switch titles weren't that fun, and you can't really own them physically, just a digital key. Sad people can't play them for charity. I loved the Wii and older systems, where you own your games and could use the web for free.

I forgot how much fun it is to be an artist after hating art for so so long. I never really liked the idea that no matter how perfect I can be my art is terrible. A perfect circle in the center of a piece of paper can still be bad. After realizing this I had quit also due to "nothing is original."

I keep seeing "Low Poly" art but low poly doesn't mean that it has to be PS1 or N64 poly count. low poly can also be high res too as long as it has a limited poly count and good topology.
