Idaho House Committee Passes Extreme Social Transition Ban
HB 822 is alarming government overreach that would allow Idaho politicians to decide how youth dress and act.

BREAKING: An Idaho House Committee passed HB 822. This dangerous and unconstitutional bill would require trusted adults, such as teachers and counselors, to monitor children for signs that they are not conforming to gender stereotypes. Learn more about the bill: buff.ly/7kw0CXu

Uruguay Achieves 99% Green Energy After Seeking the Lowest Price for Consumers The contracts were not awarded according to emissions-cutting promises, but how low the cost for installation and provision would be.

We're in a war in the Middle East nobody asked for. Almost every major industry lost jobs in February. Gas prices are skyrocketing. And the DOJ just released files alleging that the president sexually assaulted a 13 year old girl.
This is the state of the Trump presidency.

For historical context: Donald Trump is the only U.S. president ever impeached twice and later convicted on 34 felony counts by a jury. In a separate civil case, a jury also found him liable for sexual abuse against E. Jean Carroll and ordered him to pay about $83 million in damages

I do need the American people to stop viewing Trumpism as blunderous policy failure.

It is a full court press to subjugate you into poverty and despair. There is no witticism or gotchya or logical superiority that can combat that.

Those who have tamped down concerns about the SAVE Act’s chance of passage in the Senate are wrong. Keep your eyes on the prize. The potential for a blowout in 2026 is top of mind for Trump, and there are only a few ways to avoid it.

Call your Senators. 202-224-3121.

I often get asked why I am so outspoken about protecting Jewish Folks in America and it'a always the same response (because it's true). Jewish and Black Folks have been allies for decades. The alliance hasn't always been easy but we're still here 60+ years later.

Democrats never once "insisted" on genocide you lying sack of shit. And here Republicans are out here killing literally millions and making tens of millions more suffer, and you're still whining about Democrats? You fucking hypocrite.

Voters could do a lot more to stop electing criminally corrupt pathologically lying warmongering white supremacist fascist authoritarians.

Maybe if voters stopped being so shitty, we wouldn't have such shitty leadership who only seem to know how to crash economies, explode the deficit, etc.

Not calling out Nazi Shit is complicity.

You can try to excuse this all you want, it's still not acceptable for any Democratic candidate, period.

Never mind his long and recent history of posting racist, sexist, and homophobic garbage on social media. Or his lies about his past. He's awful.

Take note of how far the Republican Party has come off the rails. They are now nominating open Nazi enthusiasts. This guy also excitedly talked on camera about a gun used by the Nazis as the β€œoriginal ghetto blaster”. Disgusting.

🚨 Hey @chrismurphyct.bsky.social:

Even if you're PERSONALLY OK w/Platner having a Nazi tattoo for 18 yrs w/out grasping its significance even though he claims to be a WWII military history buff, how about considering how much it'd step on Dems larger messaging this fall to have him as the nominee.

We Americans are sure gullible.

In the 1980s a grieving John Walsh convinced us millions of our children were at high risk for stranger abduction. Suddenly, parents wouldn't permit their children to play outside with friends, go to the corner store or walk to the bus stop alone. Gone were the days of kids playing freely outside, learning to navigate the world independently & building self-confidence & protective factors.

In fact, even today there are only around 100 kids/year abducted by strangers. The millions are runaways, non-custodial abductions or youth thrown out of their homes, often because they are
gay. I'm not saying we shouldn't keep our kids safe & teach safety measures, we just over reacted & our kids paid the price.

We believed the Iraqis had weapons of mass destruction. Thus began a decade long war, based on a lie. Thousands of our world's children (adults & kids) died.

Today, so many of us believe more lies or exaggerations ...

*Our elections are not safe, especially mail-in ballots; (Despite hundreds of recounts & court decisions to the contrary.)

*Undocumented immigrants are rapists, terrorists & murderers; (The 9/11 terrorists were in the US legally.)

*Children are experiencing gender change surgeries without consent & at schools;

*The opposition party are all liars;

*Only one political party consists of true Americans;

*The media, judicial, education, scientific & government systems are untrustworthy;

*The waste & fraud in government is rampant;

*Books with different views than mine are dangerous & must be banned;

*Welfare recipients are illegals & scamming the system;

*Non-Christian religions & non-white people are suspect & possible terrorists.

*Its okay to demean, diminish & name call.

I'm sure we can provide examples to disprove any of these statements, just like the 100 out of millions John Walsh failed to mention. Is there no measured, reasonable response we can make?

Americans are gullible and over-reactionary.
Sensationalism rules, lies are elevated as truth, fear-mongering is profitable, and Americans swallow it all without critical thought.

Connor Storrie for Vogue Adria on sudden fame, (un)seriousness, and the role of art today Teodora JeremiΔ‡ spoke with Connor Storrie about what it feels like to become famous overnight and why you shouldn’t take yourself too seriously

"We often forgetβ€”especially because of social mediaβ€”that just because everyone has a public platform for their opinion doesn’t mean it is really important. It comes and goes. Someone being loud doesn’t make them right."

"Joe Biden pulled off perhaps the greatest oil trade of all time and in the process broke OPEC's grip and basically no one knows about it."

Yup. Joe Biden was an amazing President who made this country stronger and its people more secure. And he gets ZERO credit for it. It's infuriating.

There seem to be a lot of leftists & Dems realizing that Black Texans aren’t going to do the work for them. That doesn’t mean they won’t vote. It means they aren’t doing the GOTV work.

That’s on white people.

PS Lots of Black Texans go to church. They just don’t need a sermon from white Jesus.

Do any of you ever think. About the fact that for 30-50 years now the very concept of experts and expertise has been attacked??

@desia.bsky.social would love to hear your thoughts on this one too and should have brought it up earlier.

Why are you yelling that at a Democrat?

You should be yelling it at every Republican, but primarily the House Leader Steve Scalise, House Speaker Mike Johnson, or Senate Majority Leader John Thune.

Democrats have zero power to impeach or remove. Voters ensured that in November of 2024.

Google Pixel did a huge press to get their camera to work well with dark skin complexions a few years back. Did a huge PR deal announcing it & showing it of. It really does work well, but it's asinine that it took until the Google Pixel 6 in 20-fucking-21 to deal with the issue. They were the first.
