I read The Martian this past month by Andy Weir. Being there is starting to look more attractive by the day.

Our agreement with the Department of War Details on OpenAI’s contract with the Department of War, outlining safety red lines, legal protections, and how AI systems will be deployed in classified environments.

If you believe OpenAI or the US government currently, I have a bridge to sell. openai.com/index/our-ag...

Papa Johns will close 300 restaurants As part of its transformation, the chain will close units that are over 10 years old with AUVs under $600,000 and has already cut 7% of its corporate staff.

Unsurprising. Papa John’s - the home of the $32 medium pizza. www.restaurantdive.com/news/papa-jo...

While I certainly see the problem with Paramount buying WB, I also don’t watch virtually any of the channels that they would own. Cable TV is declining YOY.

What Did Mark Say? – Tech blog from an outsider looking in. I’ve often taken a keen interest when I see tech companies voluntarily shooting themselves in the foot with decisions that do nothing but upset and infuriate their users. Or they use practices that are inherently anti-consumer, such as decisions made around the Nintendo Switch 2. But that could be a blog post all its own.…

I’d be honored to be included. I run a small tech opinion blog at whatdidmarksay.com, and love what you do. Inspired me honestly.

If it isn’t overabundant AI slop, my YouTube feed is now devolved into some older fellow reading a H.G. Wells novel in front of his pantry at the top of the page.

Especially appreciate the extreme close ups of his head when he leans forward into the camera.

War of the Worlds deserves better.

I find it rich these companies are suing the US for full refunds on the tariffs when they passed all of them onto their customers.

That’s my money.

After buying the new AirTags, I hope version 3 comes with rechargeable batteries rather than the CR2032. I mean the Apple Watch charger is right there.

Dear Apple TV,

I would love it if you separated all your purchasable shows by season instead of just a few. And if it is just a few, can it be more of the ones I buy?

Thanks.
