Because of *gestures broadly* everything I had growing up I very rarely, if at all, had any sense of self identity. I was always someone else, somewhere else, not even alive.

Later I'd grow up and realize it was the underlying dissociative/derealization/osdd combo. Even now it still bites me.

Still thinking about how growing up into my adolescence and adulthood how I always have this mental thought of "if I could shape shift I'd be so much happier, people could see who I was" was a common complaint I had and still is.

Not even in a trans way, I just wish I knew who I was at any time.
