I then had to leave to go into the work office, which he was not happy about. So I can't wait to hear what he got into after I left.

I swear, doxie puppies are like having a cross between a baby T-Rex and the Energizer bunny running around the house.

Niles (our doxie puppy) was in rare form this morning. Woke me up by banging on the door with his cone repeatedly and then spent my early morning meeting making as much noise as possible destroying an empty box he found in my home office.

As a wiener dog owner, this is awesome!

Our nation is again at war, not because we had to but because the president recklessly chose to.

Now we must recognize who pays the price: not the president and his wealthy allies, but service members and ordinary Americans.

It's also good to see Cas free again, even if he seems unsure what to do next. It feels like the tablet lore and arc is still just beginning.

Supernatural 8x17: "Goodbye Stranger": I was such a fan of the chemistry between Meg and Castiel that I was once again annoyed that they killed her off in this episode. Though I suppose, in retrospect, the good character work she gets in this episode should have been a sign. #Supernatural

I want to like it while I'm watching this season. But JMS had to write for both Lochley and Byron before they were cast, and I think that's fairly apparent.

Babylon 5 5x01: "No Compromises": While I don't hate this episode, I do find the title a bit ironic. On paper, I think certain things work. It's really a question of casting. I'm not a Byron hater, per se, because I think the story arc holds value. #Babylon5

Day 3 of this dryer repair guy setting an appointment time to come finish the repair...and just not showing up. I am rapidly losing what little patience I have left. This is easily the worst home repair situation I have ever encountered. Just zero communication and accountability.

It feels like no one is entirely right or wrong, though Joe should have seen the fallout coming. But it makes them vulnerable at a moment when they need to be a solid team.

Dark Winds 4x03: "Ahááldláádígíí": As much as this episode sets the stage for our favorite trio to explore Los Angeles to find Leroy, it also picks at the secrets between them. In particular, Chee is tested by what Joe and Bern have been keeping from him. #DarkWinds

Every senator who voted to confirm RFK Jr owns this tragedy. Every single one.

Definitely checking out that new Rob Zombie album. There's also a new album from Motorpsycho that I've added to my list. And on the advisement of a few different people, I'll also be giving the new album from Eye of Melian a chance.

I liked the SAM plot thread the most; The Doctor had powerful moments, to say the least. I liked having Tilly back, but I never read/saw Our Town, so some of the resonance was a bit lost on me.

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy 1x08: "The Life of the Stars": The previous episode felt like two B-plots mashed together. This felt the opposite; two strong A-plots that could (and perhaps should) have been their own episodes. #StarTrek #StarfleetAcademy

BREAKING: We're suing Kansas for a law that invalidates transgender people's updated driver's licenses and authorizes anyone to sue anyone they suspect of being trans for using the "wrong" bathroom.
