Bluesky is best for a heavily curated online experience. You can easily block and moderate your experience, so you can avoid ragebait, drama, and all other sorts of things that take years off your lifespan. You can easily subscribe to user-made blocklists to get people you wouldn’t like away from you. Bluesky is not best for if you want high engagement numbers, especially if you are posting in a small fandom. Bluesky is not the best if you want privacy (remember the whole idea of Bluesky is that it is a public platform.)   How to Moderate Your Experience: Block and mute people, but be aware that blocks are public information (mutes aren’t.) To do this more easily, you can subscribe to user-made moderation lists or use your own. Utilize muted words to mute words related to topics you dislike.
