This was a spoof by a UK outlet but the fact that it’s believable tells you all you need to know about this administration.

Someone get this message over to Capitol Hill because I don’t think they’ve quite figured it out yet.

Nothing hits quite like telling someone to stop making everything about their religion in a country where republicans make everything about their religion.

I see a lot of the same effort at the local levels but the Democratic Party as a whole seems to be trapped in the same messaging echo chamber they’ve been in for decades. They’re all aligned on the message, I guess, but I sure wish they had the capacity to talk about more than one thing at a time.

I think Democrats should want a LOT more than just lower healthcare costs. How about secret police? Abuse of powers? Corruption in the DoJ? An end to corporate mega mergers? Enforcement of antitrust law? Cheaper groceries? Affordable housing?

When are you all going to actually meet this moment?

This is how reporters should be conducting themselves. Dodge and weave and you get no air time. Talk over the reporter and your mic gets cut. Hold these leaders to account and stop acting like you need to show them respect and deference while they platform whatever message they want.

Is this the same woman who believes in Jewish space lasers, claimed that democrats cloud seed the weather, and draped herself in fur to yell “liar!” during Biden’s State of the Union? If so, then yes.

Why are reporters so quick to forget the horrible things these people have done just because they suddenly find them on the right side of ONE issue. MTG was an integral part of the misinformation campaign that got us into this damn position in the first place.

Tell senior democratic leadership that. Something tells me their consultants still think healthcare is the only thing they have to message 🙄

It’s not an insult to his appearance. It’s his complete lack of energy and constant missteps in messaging and tone. He hasn’t inspired any confidence that he’s capable of meeting this moment and his polling numbers bear that out. It’s not helping the opposition to call for more effective leadership.

I believe the bottom one is photoshopped, but I have seen video of the top and middle and the voice and mannerisms are similar. The bottom image may be fake but I think the overall point is still correct - Fox may be using plants to spread misinformation. Knowingly or unknowingly, I’m not sure.

This is what happens when a deranged US president labels American citizens the enemy within and tells military generals he wants to use American cities as military training grounds. The United States has been overthrown by an authoritarian regime.

He can’t accept a world where he’s not the center of attention and the object of everyone’s affection and adoration. He’s batshit crazy

It’s hard to say for sure but I suspect it’s the same thing that’s plagued them for decades - they don’t know how to do anything without the input of consultants and polling. People are screaming for leaders to show passion in defending democracy but Dems only know how to defend status quo policies.

I don’t disagree but I think they have a messaging problem more than anything. I think the ACA is a great thing to fight for, but they seem to think that’s the only thing they have to fight for. I want to see them fight this fight on principled, moral grounds. Not by debating policy positions.

I think most people recognize the fight against this regime goes way deeper than just healthcare costs. Dems seem to think they can win this battle issue by issue without addressing the authoritarian takeover of our country. Lower healthcare costs won’t mean anything if we end up in a dictatorship.

They’re dropping into apartment buildings from helicopters with assault rifles and tactical gear and zip tying children. But sure, the other side are the ones who are terrorists 🙄

That’s because it stopped being news and started being every day life. We’re living under authoritarian rule.
