Being able to tweak colors, particularly outlines, is big. Filters generally take a hammer to a nuanced problem.

That's ugly, like just really really ugly. Also you'd think a studio that kinda perfected the blend of audio and visuals would avoid combinations like red&green in general tbh. At least for a game like this where the puzzles rely on 2 colours.

It’s one of my favorite series, but parts of Arise feel relentless, visually. In a way that makes Tetris Effect seem tame.

I need to mess with the accessibility options a bit more.

WHY ARE THE COLORS NOT UNIFORM IN SHAPE

The game does have colorblind filters, but these are garish are the need could have been mitigated with some guidance, even with problematic colors like red/green

I try not to get too grumpy about this. In a lot of ways I feel it’s unavoidable. Hades II was not great in this area, either.
