But battle lines are getting drawn, since the new administration rejects the most basic things, like gender identity, our community holds as non-negotiable.

I will ask you for one thing: if the FFF does wind up getting targeted, please rally, and help us fight. It's possible to win. (5/6)

The FFF will continue primarily focusing on research, because that is still the most essential challenge (i.e., being physically possible) to overcome for our long-term goals. And research, once performed, is equally useful anywhere. (4/6)

I cannot speak for anyone else in the organization, but if I am arrested for "promoting transgenderism" or "transspeciesism" or whatever other nonsense, you will see me calmly smiling at the camera as I set an example of civil disobedience, and continue fighting in court. I fucking dare them. (3/6)

It has never been an option for us to stop, but we are not naive. I am glad we have so many international folks, since we can continue regardless of the US.

But we're not leaving. We will not back down, apologize, soften our stance on you being able to make your own damn decisions, etc. (2/6)

We went from disappointment at the election, to concerned, to furious as cabinet nominations have been coming in. Many changes in policy have been clearly telegraphed. This is historic, more extreme than McCarthyism. (1/6)
