I have run into this Exact problem, I have a tiny compass on my backpack strap that is so nice for quickly orienting coming out of a subway. Was trying to find a watch compass and I liked this one that is just a full compass, but yeah this image came from, im not kidding, fullmetaljacket dot com

You know what, I genuinely appreciate it, and I will actually bring it up to the Sci Am crew to put credits more clearly, cause I agree with you on that.

Perhaps, also on other social platforms we more extensively cite and list our sources, harder on bluesky
But listen I can understand wanting to defend your favorite science creators, I totally do, especially in a post Hbomberguy Plagiarism world. And science creators don’t get enough credit
