Also, getting another bachelor degree in Japanese is in the cards as well. I can transfer some credits from my former degree to start the 2nd degree in the same university.
I'll definitely do it either I fail MA entrance exam this year, or after I finish all the courses in MA history program.

My goal this year is to get into a Master program in history at Chula, Thammasart or Silpakorn. I prefer getting another master in the field I genuinely love more than doing a PhD in a field that I don't really care about (political science/ international relations) ... at least for now

I just had a PhD entrance interview on Tuesday. I had a hunch that I won't be accepted. Nevertheless, even if I get accepted it's not certain that I'll be able to pay tuition fees anyway. Can't wait for the whole thing to be over on Tuesday so I can move on .

I just want to study at the highest level in a good university. Is that too much to ask for? 🥺

The entrance interview exam is due on the next Tuesday but I have no hope whatsoever based on the qualification of the other applicants 😭😭😭

I didn't actually get along with my MA advisor either*. Hopefully things will change this time as I'm applying to a different uni for the PhD.
*I asked my former advisor to write me a letter of recommendation but he never bothered responding to my email so I had to ask others to do it instead 😡

I've just finished the PhD application. The interview with the committee is due next month. I'm quite worried and scared. According to the announcement they'll accept only 3 students this year. I have no confidence whatsoever that I'll get in.
