U.S. State Department notice for Americans to leave 13 Middle Eastern countries
Image of current flights in the air over the Middle East
The U.S. State Department issued a notice yesterday for Americans to evacuate more than a dozen Middle Eastern countries "via commercial means due to serious safety risks."
The catch?
Air space is closed. There are no flights leaving 10 of the 13 countries.
Many of the scientists Jeffrey Epstein courted were already well-established and well-funded. So why didnβt they all just say no? Science talked with three who did just that.
Hereβs how Epstein approached them, and why they refused to have anything to do with him. β¬οΈ https://scim.ag/40qbXnv

Secretary Rubio's remarks indicate that Israel put U.S. forces in harm's way by insisting on attacking Iran. And the administration was complicitβjoining their war instead of talking them down.
This is unacceptable of the President, and unacceptable of a country that calls itself our ally.

βEvery gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.β

Whether youβre represented by Democrats or Republicans, itβs extra important for your Members of Congress to hear from you right now.
Urge your elected officials to use every lever in their toolbox to put an immediate stop to Trumpβs illegal war with Iran.
Donald Trump is planning to use his attack on Iran to justify a power grab over voting in the 2026 midterms. The fact that the attack violates the Constitution wonβt stop him from trying. It is our job to expose this plot and ensure that it does not succeed. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/trum...

A big part of the authoritarian playbook is war. War takes over the news. War blots out criticism. War divides a nationβs people, subjecting those against it to being called unpatriotic. War grants leaders all sorts of emergency powers. War consumes everything else.
We mustnβt let this war do so.
This article should have made the basic point that other countries are governed by the rule of law. Itβs not about βeagernessβ to prosecute and itβs not a puzzle. Itβs a marker of a deep US problem.

They went to war with Iran (which nobody in America was asking for) so they could conjure an excuse to allow ICE to keep murdering Americans and teargassing schools here at home with impunity (which nobody in America was asking for).

This war is illegal. Full stop. The worst abuse of presidential power in American history aims to cement a dictatorship on U.S. soil
