ED crowding is ultimately hospital crowding. This impacts all our patients, so if you have a good idea to alleviate crowding, share it! 4/4

We need whole health system buy-in for solutions to improve occupancy and inpatient flow. And inpatient boarding can help! We know patients prefer boarding in inpatient hallways over the ED. I fully admit, inpatient hallways are an incremental solution. 2/

RFK Jr. weighs major changes to how Medicare pays physicians Kennedy and advisers say the system drives doctors to perform costly surgeries rather than combating chronic disease.

Thereโ€™s a lot of news stories about the new administration, but donโ€™t miss this one by @ddiamond.bsky.social. IMO the Medicare PFS is most under-appreciated and overlooked item in the health policy toolkit. wapo.st/3Zix1fKout
