I still keep the original screenshot of the Twitter posting of the Rainfurrest staff, stating in unmistakable terms that Babyfurs didn't do anything.
Which usually gets ignored, or it's a 'yes, but...", but it's still fun to have it and whip it out every now and then.

It's funny how babyfurs haven't ruined anything in decades, but.. yeah...
Since the Rainfurrest bullshit is still making it's circles despite being debunked countless times, that's sadly expected.

An adorable slice-of-life in the lives of Sascha and Kuraiko. ^.^

Why does Sascha / Ghosty still wear diapers at his age? Taking inspiration from Kurai and his adorable backstory, here’s how things are for Sascha. For him, it's a little different. He has a medical condition that makes him pretty much incontinent. Doctors think it's a mix of nerve issues and how his brain is wired. His body doesn’t always send the right signals at the right time and his brain struggles a bit to keep up. Sascha is a bit neurodiverse and has ADHD, so that explanation fits perfectly. At night, it has never worked. He has always wet the bed, so bedtime diapers were simply mandatory from the start. During the day, well... his warning time is either very short or basically nonexistent. Being part cat, easily distracted and (sometimes at least) having the attention span of a bouncing rubber ball, doesn't help either. If he's busy, like playing, exploring, or having a hyperfocus on something, bathrooms stop mattering entirely. By the time he thinks: "Uhm… I gotta go!" his diaper has already handled it. Sometimes it's only: "Oh... getting warm." He doesn't have much of a choice in the matter. And honestly? Just like his brother Kuraiko, Sascha likes his diapers. They're soft, safe, comfortable... and have you seen those cute prints?! So the motivation to rush to a toilet isn't exactly high on his priority list. Sometimes his mum and dad would wish that he would try a little more, but they are never pushy. They've already lost the battle against Kurai, when the little tiger-hybrid stubbornly wanted his diapers back. They don't want another fight, especially knowing that Sascha really can't help it, most of the time..

And yes, technically, he can use the toilet. But it takes a lot of focus, a bathroom very close at hand, and absolutely zero distractions. So it doesn't happen very often. Out and about? No chance. Before he even reaches a restroom, maybe even has to wait in line or the bathroom is blocked, it's already over. Sometimes he gets a bit frustrated and wishes he had more control. But his brother Kurai proudly wears diapers full-time, totally by choice. Their friends are chill. No teasing. No rush to “grow up.” Every kid develops differently, and that’s perfectly okay. The world they live in understands that! So Sascha has found his peace with it. Diapers make life smoother, happier, easier, and much less stressful. And his family? They love their bearkitty boy exactly as he is: protected, supported, and surrounded by people who wouldn’t change a single thing about him.

I think I might sound like a broken record.
But honestly, finding out what I am and suddenly puzzle pieces sliding into place, explaining _so_ much of how I felt sometimes and how I sometimes (over-)reacted.

Yes, absolutely. Alioth emphasizes them a little but is still totally within more realistic territory.
I think I would add Ori and Micah as well (and there are others I probably forgot).

And yeah. I think both the picture from Mirri and from Strawbs are an nice example of what would actually be there with a 5-8 year old kid like Sascha.
We crinkly folk tend to overdo it a little and that's totally valid and often very cute.
But those are about a realistic bulk of a kids diaper.

The expressions are spot on.
Happy and playful, NOT a happy camper, and WHEEEEEEEEE

Sammy is special ^_^ Both in art and in RL.
And I love when artists depict Sammy very clearly as a plushie ... but also alive in Sascha's imagination and play.

And to be honest ... I LOVE that!
Yes of course I love the typical "babyfur aestetic" of shirt and diaper. What's not to like about this.

But especially in scenes like this, it's so cute that it is just there.
it's natural for Sascha, yes he still needs them.
But no attention is called at them.

Mirri isn't an ABDL artist ... at all. Zero interest.
But she really like my bearkitty (and sometimes likes drawing cute kids) so it's always a little more subtle with her pictures.
Sometimes completely hidden, sometimes theres a peek, sometimes a subtle bulk.
And it's always adorable! ^.^
