Has anyone else seen #PastLives?! Now available on Netflix, it's a beautiful depiction of first love, thirty-something life, and the immigrant experience that I highly recommend.

While I think your concept has merit, I'm going to say no because I personally didn't fall in love with it quite enough to want to take another look even if you've revised the opening pages. Don't blame you at all for asking, though!

#WritingPrompt: find a bunch of headshots and write sentence- or paragraph-long descriptions of each from the perspective of two different characters in your WIP.

Tricky part: you can't use specific color words to describe their hair or eyes.

Oh, man, I hear you. Hopefully, these sweeter rom-coms for supposedly younger readers will catch on, and publishers will realize that reader tastes vary.

Yeah, I'm not exactly sure why or how this trend developed. Also, in adult fiction, it's much clearer which books are the steamy ones and which books are less so, which makes it easier for readers to find the ones they're looking for.
