First, let's get this point out of the way from the start; many people will be mad with any changes to the rules that extend beyond legal requirements. It's a censorship issue, content that is legal and was allowed is now no longer allowed despite being legal. That sets an uncomfortable precedent.

20 years ago, there were so few places to put adult art online; it was pretty much email lists or your own site. Y!gal was the first place I could post nsfw art, and was still limited. I remember when I first found tumblr and learned people could post all kinds of nsfw there. We had come so far!

There's one thing to ask for feedback and another to listen to it. We don't want a new twitter, we don't want a new tumblr. We want a space that was welcoming and free where we could express ourself. No fear of judgement. Sad to know bsky is a site built on hypocrisy. It will die if this continues.
