i realized that i can be adjacent to the space and offer what i offer to people who wanna see it and not advertise specifically to vtubers cause i never wanna be just being watched by vtubers. i do think lack of consistency plays a big part but i think most of your followers are other streamers.

i think the problem is that you're trying to make your ideals work in the vtuber space, when this space doesn't want it. they want cute smiling girlboss fake friendship, they don't have time for real conversation unless someone's said something racist in the space, it's why i stopped participating.

if you're yelling into the void it's usually a matter of you not reaching people which you can either find a way to do it "organically", pay for more reach or you're not packaging it in a way for people to appreciate your messaging.

idk personally i feel like posting for conversation is more of an amateur space type thing yknow. like early tumblr where everyone is kinda complimenting and appreciating each other regardless of percieved "quality" in a prof space you gotta constantly show why you're worth peoples time and money.

it's a day to day process and tbh i'm not gonna tell you to
cut everyone off but i did. that was what i had to do to establish my boundaries to make me happy. find people who know your heart, and it's okay if people are surprised it comes with the territory of speaking your mind unfiltered.

i've been where you are. things started to change when i became truly okay with not being for everyone. I stopped being around people who took my negativity personal and started choosing friends and relationship that know that it's just a facet of my personality and not me as a whole.
