Legacy armada Starscream, his fists are red plastic painted black, and the panels to hide them are black plastic painted gray & red. Odd sprue placement that leads to unnecessary paint apps.

Notable since his legs lack any paint compared to the og toy/toon model

I love Hot Shot, the og was my first transformer. Legacy? They tried to change his proportions, to detrimental effect. His arms are too small/skinny and his legs hollow and kibbly, and his overall car mode looks oddly flattened. I still love it, but I think there's clearly improvements to be made

Original is such a fun toy, it's got so many gimmicks

It's so strange with the legacy updates of the Armada bots, they nailed Optimus, and then the rest all have these weird compromises

DC had some strange ideas on what to do with Killer Moth a while back, including demon-magic mutation into a moth monster that laid eggs hatching into clones of his human self...

Second instance I've seen of a male character become a giant moth that gets pregnant

If they didn't include that weird shoulder shuffle, there most likely would've been room for a knife in the budget.

The weird Shockwave-style armblaster they gave him was a strange inclusion too

He's a really nice looking update, my only gripes are:
1 Turret doesn't fully rotate (why is that so?)
2 Unnecessary shoulder transformation (all it adds is a slightly longer tank mode and unstable shoulders)
3 Lack of knife (I don't mind the lack of Leader-1, but no knife?)

Otherwise a fine figure
