Last night the Global Sumud Flotilla was intercepted by Israeli Forces, blatantly violating international law once again.

I have written to the UK Government urging them to ensure that all those, including my constituent Hannah Schafer, who have been detained, are safely released.

Rhaid parhau i roi pwysau ar Lywodraeth y DU i wneud popeth o fewn ei gallu i roi diwedd ar yr erchyllterau a welwn yn Gaza.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is worsening by the day.

The UK Government has a moral and legal responsibility to ensure Israel complies with international law.

We must continue to put pressure on the UK Government to do everything in its power to put an end to the atrocities seen in Gaza.

In a letter to Chancellor Rachel Reeves, Ben Lake MP proposes several alternatives to the Chancellor’s current fiscal approach. These include: - Charging National Insurance on limited liability partnerships, such as large corporate law firms; - Closing tax loopholes that allow overseas-based online vendors to avoid VAT; - Ending subsidies for oil and gas companies.

NEW: Ben Lake MP has written to the Chancellor ahead of the Spring Statement, urging alternatives to cuts.

It’s time to raise taxes on big corporations and close tax loopholes - not yet more cuts to the most vulnerable.

Labour austerity is not inevitable.
