This was the 1980 Turkish entry for Eurovision. We were mad for it and convinced it would win. In the end it came in 15th. The excitement and anticipation of that May has always stayed with me.

My mother was a big fan of The Stylistics. I grew up on their music and this is probably my favorite. Reminds me of childhood.

A wonderful rousing upbeat anthem. Takes me back to campaigning outside South Africa House in London in the mid eighties.
To this day I’ll always get up an dance if I hear it.
