We need regulation around how long a game can be playable. Putting a game up for 45 days and then pulling the plug should actually be illegal. That screams pump and dump scheme and its disgusting. To the Highguard developers, Do Better.

Highguard was exactly what everyone thought it would be. A quick cash grab and run.

Overall is a wait to buy until there is more available within the game to accomplish and it feels more developed.

Things I dislike:

Soloing feels really bad

NPCs and PCs are too hard to distinguish between

Loot just doesn't feel good

Combat is too fast and comes down to who engages first

Objective goals are often vague and obtuse

Nothing on the map to fight over/force fights

Things I liked:

Theme is great

Gunplay felt good

NPCs actually felt threatening

Actual lore between factions

Skill tress are cool

Options after Marathon server slam:

Its just okay

It adds nothing new to yhe extraction shooter genre and feels extremely bare bones.

No unified objective to fight over and prioritizes individual objective

Near impossible to play as a solo

Honestly the most 5/10 game I've played in a bit.

As I've gotten older I much prefer games in private so I can focus on the mechanics and story. Though things like Animal Crossing that require less focus for me are great for train rides or waiting for appointments.

My only experience with it was the Zelda Collectors Disc that was for yhr GameCube thay had the 30 minute demo. I remember saying huh this looks fun and then just never picking the game up.
