Totally! It's so weird too because the article mentions the AI obviously doesn't have the user's best interests at heart...but it doesn't have any agenda at all and I find that hard to accept. It's so pointless!

When I saw the title I was like "what?!" and then I read the article and I can't believe I didn't think of this! I watched the movie Altered States last week which is about a guy searching for his primal self and all this sounds eerily similar!
