A 1944 map by geologist Harold Fisk charts a 40-mile stretch of the Mississippi River from Friars Point to Gunnison, Mississippi. Fisk used aerial photos and maps to estimate the past and then-present channels. Hillary Clinton has more than her share of flaws, but when it comes to "showing congressional Republicans the proper level of contempt" she is flawless.

On the plus side - makes one appreciate a well prepared egg cooked with the respect and care that they deserve :)

Sister and BIL dropped into the hospital after family dinner today. They took me outside in a wheelchair (I'm wearing a surgical gown) At the hospital lobby the nephew suddenly sprints ahead, spins around, crouches down then pops up and yells "I can see your nuts" as loud as possible. :/

Pain medication well and truely worn off and it’s another hour before I’m due for more. This puts the noisy visitors gathered around the next bed in dire danger.

This is exactly the kind of food the grandparents would serve for Sunday dinner.

Brings memories. Not good ones. Nasty, sulphurous, gluggy, mucus filled memories.

Have you ever seen a snake eat a mouse and thought how unpleasant it must taste? How their mouths mostly come into contact with fur and nothing delicious?

Don’t feel too bad for them. Most snakes barely have any taste receptors. Most don’t even have the genes for tasting umami or sweetness.

Thanks, yes foolishness is pretty subjective - plenty of times I’ve looked back at things only to recognise that I was the fool :)

Unequivocal yes! I’ve been into A&E twice in the last week. The care, in terms of human compassion as well as technical skills can only be truly appreciated when you’re the one laying helpless, scared and hurting on the bed.

Mike, have you considered putting down your beer, lube and dick? The combination of alcohol and reduced blood flow to what passes for your brain is detrimental, and god am I being kind when I call it merely detrimental.

I worked with 1 in 1999/2000, it washed up in a very bad way. As it recovered I conditioned it to open its mouth and let me touch its teeth. To reach the back of its jaw took my forearm and 1/3 of my upper arm - terrifyingly deep.
