Which would cover nationwide child coverage by 166%

That is the amount of money countries miss out on due to rich people evading taxes

This popped up in a conversation about AI using "complex and nuanced" in its completely incorrect bios of people earlier today.

I know it would not make a great selling point for the technology, but it would go a LONG way towards educating people who seem to all but rely upon ChatGPT and similar.

We have really got to stop ascribing sentience and "humanity" to AI programming.

It doesn't "lie" or "hallucinate," those are things people do. It doesn't "make stuff up," it picks statistically significant information to chain together.

It doesn't "know" anything.

But the way we talk about it…

Luddites weren't anti-tech.

They were against technology being used by the capitalist class to capture wealth at the expense of the worker.

I am a Luddite, and a tech enthusiast. They're not in opposition. I want technology that makes MY life better, not that sells my life piecemeal to corps.
