It's likely most of us are still digesting everything we learned at Stempra's Press Officer Training Day yesterday - so we'll keep this update quick and cheerful. We partnered with KMGS Photography to immortalise the day, and the photos are IN ✨

Happy Friday, and happy faces at #POTD2025

Thank you to our lovely panelists: Frances Beves (former Director of Comms, NIHR), Laura Peters (associate director of External Relations and Media, Alzheimer's Society) and Phil Groves (Head of Communications Response Team, NHS England), and chair Arjun Sanganee (Senior Press Officer, RCS England)

But, at the same time, we have our finger on the pulse of human nature and science/research in a way that can let us be the cannary in a coal mine - and spot the possible risk before it becomes an issue.

We wrap #POTD2025 up with a session on crisis communication, and the lasting impression that comms people should be the calm in the storm in a crisis. 🧵
