FWIW, one of the (very) few positives of refugee relocations is that it tends to improve the cuisine where they end up.

My favorite thing is where they defined "female" in the EO about there being two genders as a being that would produce "the large reproductive cell" (eggs) at conception.

Of course, testes don't develop until about Week 7. So by law, all Americans are currently female.

Book update!

I'm going to broaden my search for interviees to include actors with ADHD, both because a lot of the neurology is the same, and because a lot of people (especially women) who identify as ADHD are in fact AuDHD and either don't know it or are reluctant to identify as autistic.

A college degree also shows you can write, research things, and complete complicated tasks on a deadline. For certain minimum values of "can".

You get good at masking by having human emotional expression as a special interest - and you usually get into acting by having human emotional expression *in media* as a special interest. Which can be a deep and nuanced skill base to build a performance on.

Acting can be simply another form of masking. So it can potentially be approached as a craft with great freedom and confidence by people who are good at masking... although that's not the way it's usually taught. #acting #autism
