Our parent company is moving much of the creative services currently done locally at its stations across the country to centralized production hubs. If you search for them in the news, you’ll get a better idea of what’s happening.

This time, I’m a pre-acquisition casualty, with my job and others ending in early April.

It’s been a wild ten months, but have you ever heard the saying that begins with “All good things…”?

Yep.

And best of all, I get to work with a great Creative Services team. Seriously. I didn’t pick the players, but I inherited a genuine A-Team.

I love it when a plan comes together.

Usually.

I get to work with the eclectic batch of fantastic personalities known as our news team — those in front of and behind the cameras — on a plethora of projects.

I get to work for someone who is firm but fair.

It’s given me the opportunity to lead, share what I know, and grow.
