Thank you for this coverage!! These people will be looking to wedge their way into towns around CA that seemingly are not paying attention. Fortunately, the Conejo Valley is doing a great job of keeping extremists at bay in elected roles on our school board & city council (even park and rec).

Carrie Burgert unsuccessfully sued CVUSD around curriculum and what kids are exposed to in the classroom. She claimed so called “parental rights.” It’s all a farce— I’ve heard Burgert withdrew her kids from CVUSD and enrolled them in a Christian school with this policy:

Indeed. When they rounded up the Japanese Americans, myself and my family included, for internment during WWII out of fear over Japanese spies and saboteurs, two thirds of us were U.S. citizens.
