1 in 10 people in Lancaster County are enrolled in SNAP. Makes you wonder if the powers that be realize the sheer loss of spending power and economic activity that's about happen across the country.

WPSU was deeply impacted by federal budget cuts to public radio. The station received between $1 mil-$2 mil of federal funding. Penn State says it can't fund the station without that money anymore.
The station is expected to close in 2026
Pretty much every day, professors would tell me they heard me that morning on WPSU. It was exciting, and a really cool example of how important local news is. This stuff matters. People listened, even when it sometimes felt like I was talking in a vacuum. I LOVED my time at WPSU
