This! I continually learn so much from newer Dommes, it feels so silly to try and create hierarchies. Everyone who enters this work comes from a fascinating background or former life and they bring really exciting new info and techniques!

If there's no extra $ to be had, that's ok! Negotiate that with your trainee. If they are being paid less than you, tell them and be transparent about the gap. Money is tricky! The more openly we talk about it, the less hurt feelings there are.

Let's be real, many clients will pay extra for observers and dommes-in-training to watch and learn. I feel like it should be standard for that extra to be paid to your observer/trainee. They are performing labor/doing sex work and the client is enjoying their presence, pay them!

There are a plethora of 101 and intro courses that are quite affordable. I do not have any interest in adding another 101 course to the mix, but I often recommend Red Key Club, 7 Days of Domination and @dominasnow.com
If you do offer 101 courses, do you teach safety? Do you teach screening?

I prefer to pass on skills in the context of a double with a fellow provider who has industry experience 2+ years. I prefer that the sub pay BOTH of us for the lesson as well as be capable of bottoming for the skill. I prefer the tone of the session be an exploration between equals, read labbing.
