The recent intensification of the blockade, including through illegal intervention in Venezuela which forced the state to end its crucial oil shipments, has led to an acute crisis throughout Cuban society. People are without electricity, transportation, and food. Hospitals can’t treat their patients. Children can’t go to school. Would-be colonizers like Marco Rubio have a single goal: to destroy the only socialist state in the Western hemisphere. Like the American war on Vietnam and the Israeli war on Gaza, they are ready to destroy countless lives in a vain attempt to salvage a dying hegemony.
