All other America the Beautiful passes will only be available to US citizens and permanent residents. + Entrance fee free days will only apply to US citizens and residents. Nonresidents will be required to pay entrance fees and applicable nonresident fees. o The following parks will have a surcharge of $100 for each nonresident of the US entering the park: Acadia National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Everglades National Park, Glacier National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks, Yellowstone National Park, Yosemite National Parks, and Zion National Park.

my husband made it so the home assistant voice assistant can use full-on ollama to interpret instructions. then he told it to turn the lights on. it's been explaining its thought process for over five minutes now and the lights are still off.

My kids were asking when they could have their own iPhones and I got to use “when I was younger and I wanted an iPhone I had to build one myself!”

Similar to the last photo of lasagna in a pan in the dishwasher but this time the cheese is a little more melted.

It worked, kind of! The cheese didn’t melt as much as it could have, but it tasted fine.

The dishwasher is running right now and I’m a little scared to eventually open it when it finishes.

I found a cheap receipt printer on Amazon so I upgraded the kid’s label printer to a mini newspaper.

Should the government censor speech it doesn’t like? Of course not. The FCC does not have a roving mandate to police speech in the name of the “public interest.”

Who, in your view, should have the power to draw the line between a “lie” and “free speech”? Government officials that want to stay in political power or the people that can hold them accountable ?

President Biden is right. Political satire is one of the oldest and most important forms of free speech. It challenges those in power while using humor to draw more people in to the discussion. That’s why people in influential positions have always targeted it for censorship.

Free speech is the counterweight—it is democracy’s check on government control. That’s why censorship is the authoritarian’s dream. After all, there’s a straight line from the soap box to the ballot box. You retain freedom at both or neither.
