My dog Baboy (🌈) being my kitchen assistant. He is sitting very pretty on the rug in my kitchen, ears up, tongue flopped out to the side, and eyes bright in anticipation of snacks. Obviously I gave him some. I always did.

Miss Biko Girl (front) and Mr. Tooticus Rex (back) are sitting on my kitchen rug while I cook, hoping for snacks. Biko is an extremely popular Filipino dessert made with sticky rice, coconut milk, and brown sugar. The day we brought her home after adopting her, she named herself because she is sweet as Biko pie. After saying goodbye to Baboy in 2024 and Wulo earlier this year, and still working through issues of autoimmune disease with Tooticus, it has really helped my heart bringing her home and getting to know her. ♥️

I still get emotional about #BaboyTheDog (🌈) not being there, but Mr. #TooticusRex and #MissBikoGirl are carrying on his legacy of being my cooking assistants and that makes me happy. ♥️

Congratulations on your new family member! We adopted and were able to bring home Miss Biko girl on December 15. This is the best Christmas I have had in a long time.

Day 10: #MissBikoGirl had apparently never been allowed on one before, and has now discovered couches are *amazing*. We had to use her towels to teach her that this is the dog couch and it is for her and her brother. ♥️

Hello #DogsOfBluesky and #SkyDogs, introducing #MissBikoGirl, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier I found at my local shelter. A breeder took her puppies away and dumped her. Just...WHY??? Anyway, we are so happy we found her and love her to pieces already. ♥️

My dog Mr. Tooticus Rex is standing outside in my back driveway, down the steps and within view of my open back door. He is looking at me somewhat anxiously because I stepped back inside briefly. My property has a decorative fence and is next to a park, so wildlife comes in and out of the yard whenever they want. This includes predators like coyotes and bobcats. Because of this our dogs have 100% human supervision when they are out in the yard. It is something the dogs have gotten used to over the years and so now they don't want to be outside unless we are with them. My back steps look kind of crazy because we are attempting to train Tooticus to use a ramp instead of the stairs. So we blocked the steps with red wrought iron chairs. It has been somewhat successful so far. Lol.

Me: * I walk inside to grab pick up bags from the windowsill beside the door. *

Mr. #TooticusRex: "MOM, you're supposed to be outside with me."

Haha, there were a lot of outtakes because Mr. Tooticus Rex (on the right) is so insanely food motivated he can't wait. Baboy (left) and Wulo (center) were champs, though. They were so tolerant and patient with me always wanting to take pictures of them. ♥️

A picture from 2015 with my dog Wulo (blond/white, blue collar) on the left and Baboy (blue/white, black collar) on the right. Both are pit bull terrier mixes. This is a long shot, taken at eye level with my dogs sitting on the driveway, and the park area behind them seems really far away. The picture was taken in the fall so there are leaves all over the driveway around them. I unexpectedly had to say goodbye to Baboy 6.1.2024. He was somewhere between 12-13 years old. He was having concerning symptoms and I took him to the emergency vet expecting that whatever it was would be treatable...and it wasn't. It seriously was one of the worst days of my life, Baboy was the love of my life and my heart dog and I definitely wasn't ready. Wulo was very different. He was fifteen when we said goodbye July 1. His last year with us he had been diagnosed with some really serious health stuff and pretty much any vet would have said we had a few weeks together. We had a year. And 8-10 months of that was really really good. The last 3 or so months, it got a lot harder, but we were able to keep him happy and comfortable. When the last day came, it was time because we had reached the floor where the concern was no matter how hard I tried, he would not be able to stay happy and comfortable. So saying goodbye was super sad and hard, but there is no feeling that we lost him too soon the way it was with Baboy. This has been a really difficult 18 months and I just don't know what else I can say about it.

Within one day of exactly 13 months since I had to say goodbye to #BaboyTheDog I also had to say goodbye to #WuloTheOriginal. The 1st and 2nd days of the month are going to be sad for me for a very long time. I miss them both so much.

My dogs are sitting in the middle of the room with sun coming in through the window. They are all pit bull mixes. Baboy (blue/white) is on the left, Wulo (blond/white) is in the middle, Mr. Tooticus Rex (blue/white) is on the right. Sadly, both Baboy and Wulo are gone now. We unexpectedly had to say goodbye to Baboy just over a year ago. And we had to say goodbye to Wulo yesterday.

My oldest dog will be 15 in July and as of this week, I think we are one day at a time too. Agreed they should be able to do whatever they want when there is so little time left together. I am so sorry and I hope these last days are beautiful ones for you and Alphonse.

I am with my dog Mr. Tooticus Rex at a vet follow up visit. Everything is fine, just when he got sick last November (we almost lost him), the treatment protocol takes a year. We are in an exam room where there is a floor to ceiling window, so Tooticus is lying on the floor by the window in the sun spot.

When you are at the vet (again) for another follow up BUT you can enjoy the sun spot in good ol' climate control...

A picture from 2018 where my dogs Baboy (left) and Wulo (right) are sitting in the back of my car with the window open. They are both happy and excited because I am about to give them chicken nuggets. They were brothers that were together for 11 years until I unexpectedly had to say goodbye to Baboy exactly 11 months ago. Now Wulo is almost 15 and was recently diagnosed with a type of cancer called insulinoma. We are still able to keep him happy and comfortable for now, but his health has deteriorated significantly since February 14. I know we don't have much time left together and combined with the around the clock care he needs right now, I am having a tough time of it lately.

Happy times in 2018. It is exactly 11 months since I unexpectedly had to say goodbye to #BaboyTheDog and #WuloTheOriginal, who is almost 15, has been diagnosed pancreatic cancer. These are tough times and I am really feeling it right now.

I feel that way about mine as well. ♥️

Wulo has done this since he was a puppy. He is almost 15 now. This morning he had a neurological episode and so it makes me super happy to see him sleeping so comfortably just an hour or so later.

My dog Wulo is lying sprawled out on his bed, feet everywhere, and with his head hanging off the bed and his muzzle on the floor. It doesn't look comfortable but it must be because he is completely crashed out sleeping and snoring.

Well, if it wasn't comfortable he would move. ♥️
