Yup. While all this was happening we were also trying to distract my 2 year old niece, unsuccessfully, as she yelled “glitter!” when we opened the boxes and started to scatter. Still, it helped make an emotional moment a bit easier to handle

My method is to write my to-do list after I’ve done a couple of things, then I tick them straight off and get the dopamine hit. Then I ignore the rest of the list 🤦🏻‍♀️

We did it with my Grandparents. Didn’t notice the swimmer in the ocean from our position on the pier. Probably should have looked down before we tipped them out
