Oh man Monster Sanctuary is so good. I played it years ago on Switch but never could beat it. Now they have a lower difficulty AND they raised the max levels :D playing on PS5 now and going for those trophies! Everything with this game just hits with me

I barely knew what I was doing on my first handful of runs and yet I was able to make it to the first boss at least. Now I can't even get through a few encounters or so. I feel like I'm going crazy here lol

Darkest Dungeon 2 is such a weird game! I picked it up a few days ago (I adored the first one btw) and my first few runs felt long but still challenging. Now I have a ton of unlocks and I haven't been able to get back anywhere close to my original first few hours of progress. What gives?

Absolum is pretty dang good! I'm realizing that nothing has hit quite like Dragon's Crown back when as far as RPG beat em ups go. Hopefully more will come!

Wonder if I should give Harvestella on Switch another try. I don't remember too much from the game but played it for maybe 10 or so hours? I forget what came out that took my attention away. Have you played it? Has gorgeous box art

I bought myself some Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeaaaaance this evening! PS5 version. I played a bit of the original on Switch years ago. Can't wait to start it tomorrow! Have you played? Are you a fan of Persona or this SMT series?

The Room is such a magical film. Everything has already been said about it, but I'm still so baffled how it can be so consistently entertaining throughout. Never a dull moment. Pure movie magic happening on a cataclysmic level lol

Games haven't been hitting me for a week or so now. I am quite tempted to hook up my PS3 again and play all the cool stuff on there! Xenogears, Vagrant Story, Mega Man Legends 1 and 2 for a few examples! I haven't played those significantly

Also! Thanks for the response. Returnal would be exactly what I'm looking for if it wasn't about the tough as nails combat. I'm dying for a freaky potentially sci-fi game as far as setting goes. Hm ... maybe I should try Mass Effect again. I only beat the first one.

I did play Bloodborne back in the day! I know everyone loves it but it's maybe not quite my thing. The world and atmosphere is exactly what I'm looking for but I wasn't a big fan of the combat (and lack of magic!) but Horizon is a great choice. Maybe I should finally fire up the 2nd one. Thanks!

Been watching a little bit of that Hell is Us game. Have you played it? It's got me thinking about exploration games (scanning, obtaining information, unlocking areas, non twitchy combat though) but I've played the Souls games, Lies of P, Stellar Blade! Looking for similar. Any ideas?

Has anyone played YsVIII on Switch? Wondering if it's worth picking up. I played a tiny bit on PS+/PS4 years ago but I know there's a PS5 version of it now. Just wondering if it's decent on Switch as it might be a great bed time game
