Absolutely. Seems like transphobic men save their hate for trans women not only b/c on some level they recognize them as women and hate them like they hate all women

But also that it bothers them less that someone could “gain” “male” privilege than that someone could lose it (& is thus vulnerable)

It’s interesting / it really sucks to study homophobia throughout the centuries and be reminded that it’s mostly motivated by transphobia 😪

Like, a lot of opposition to gay sex/relationships is and has always been: “But this is men doing what women are supposed to do 🤨”
