The removals came after a demand from Trump’s DOJ.

The GOP's tax cuts for their billionaire donors ballooned the deficit, so they're blaming the problem on Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid — demanding cuts to programs that millions of Americans rely on. It's socialism for the rich, harsh capitalism for everyone else.

So how do we tell the story of the destruction of government? The story of future losses *not* averted?

Republicans want to slash Medicaid — a death sentence for thousands of Americans. Medicaid provides health care to more than 37 million kids, funding for 2/3 of seniors in nursing homes & is 40% of the revenue for community health centers. 

We must EXPAND Medicaid, not cut it.

I’m not sure whether I’m more infuriated and disgusted by those who are obliterating the rule of law in America, our government and our standing in the world or by those in a position to do something about it who are passively letting it happen.
