The desire to run a contest for writers should stem from an earnest, genuine desire to use *your* resources to introduce the world to new artists. Not a desire to use *artist* resources to pay your rent.

Pet peeve which probably is due to me being an old:

When a reel or short video is just someone making faces or panning the room and all of the actual information is in the caption.

If the video is not really part of the content, I'm irritated that you didn't just put it into writing.

The network building problem is very real!

I think Bluesky is innately more introverted? If you filter to remove ragebait type posts, it makes commenting feel less urgent?
