and for what it’s worth it IS hard to accept this! I don’t think that public facing social norms allow people to explore the full extent of their feelings and that we shy away from processing or really identifying our emotions. it takes a lot to unlearn that and give yourself the grace to feel it

This is really well said!! It’s completely valid to seek or desire validation, and I think a lot of people deny themselves that. Hell, it’s even ok to feel jealous! Call a spade a spade! But don’t put that on other people or make things a competition, you’ll only end up tearing two people down

Gale and a dragonborn, Grunt, stand together. Grunt thanks Gale, “You are my savior… I haven’t slept in a tenday” after Gale casts a light cantrip. He responds to Grunt with “Of course! You should have asked sooner! It’s a simple spell… I can teach you sometime”

Kinda late, but this is Grunt! Despite being a big strong paladin… she’s a tad afraid of the dark.
