As for his fact-defying statements from Hungary about threats and attacks from Ukraine - Orban's statements from today aren't a first. In the summer of 2025, Hungary claimed Ukraine's LEGAL act of self-defence in Russia against Russia's ILLEGAL aggression was an attack on Hungary...

In May 2022, reports swirled that Putin had informed Orban of Russia's February 24 major military offensive against Ukraine *in advance* and that Orban asked for parts of Ukraine after it fell to Russia. This explains the presence of Hungarian troops on Ukraine's border in Feb 2022.

As Orban speaks like Putin, claiming absolutely absurdly and implausibly that Ukraine is a "threat" to Hungary, recall that in February 2022, Hungary amassed its troops along Ukraine's border, an act of potential military aggression against Ukraine to help Russia destroy the Ukrainian state.

The @Telegraph reports what many of us suspecged: troops will be sent to Ukraine ONLY if Putin consents. And of course he won't.

They should call themselves the Cowardly Coalition of the Unwilling to do the right thing and uphold international law.

Message? Ukraine should FURTHER limit its LEGAL RIGHT TO SELF DEFENCE against illegal Russian aggression and genocide to protect American economic interests. Ukraine's existence is supposed to be secondary to American economic wants, you see.

Germany has signed an agreement with Ukraine in which Ukrainians will begin training DE military.

But Ukraine is still not being offered NATO membership, despite being THE ONLY nation with a battle-hardened military with direct combat experience with Russia -the country NATO is too afraid to fight.

But all that would require Europe to stop being hostage to both Putin and Trump. It would require acting. And so far, Munich has been a place for talking.

Deploying a EU air shield over Ukraine while Russian missiles are killing civilians in their homes is not an act of war. It is, at minimum, an act of self-interest as Europe's own radiological safety is at stake every time RU strikes near a nuclear power plant.

Ukraine has proven that it can independently conduct deep strikes using its own drone technologies, so it will bring peace faster.

Acting means air defense missiles now—not after a theoretical ceasefire. Provide Ukraine with massive long-range strike capabilities so it can hit missile production and storage at the source. Intercepting 800 drones a night is not sustainable without reducing the supply.

Europe can wait until Ukraine bleeds to death and then face Russia on its own borders—without Ukraine's battle-hardened military, without a buffer, and without the three years of Russian degradation that Ukraine has accomplished at unimaginable cost.

Or, it can act.

New "security guarantees" are worthless.
A coalition that will not fight a weakened Russia today—after Ukraine has degraded its military for three years—will not fight a reconstituted Russia tomorrow, after Moscow rebuilds during a ceasefire.
