While that may be true, that is not what he is talking about. There is no state-level inflation, and he is making that up. His comment is that blue states have 0.5% higher inflation (due to ‘regulation’), and therefore the inflation problem would be solved if we all moved to a red state

Bennett made points that I think are in agreement with you, to a point. He actually is discussing nationalization of politics when he discusses use of language, and poll-testing positions. He makes a point about decisive v significant. But then he concludes the solution is moving to the right
