Dude it is SUCH a cool motif! Reminds me a ton of King Bulbin from Twilight Princess. Wonder if the Zelda devs were inspired by Warhammer or D&D or something.

I absolutely understand screenshot artists are a very real thing, and super important to videogame advertising. I think they are very important. But outside a professional capacity, I feel like it would be better just to say "here's some gorgeous screenshots I took from the game."

Maybe there's some nuance I don't fully understand. But Expedition 33 has brought forth a slew self-proclaimed "hobby screenshot artists." And from my perspective, it comes across as AI-adjacent rhetoric as in "Here's something already beautiful made by someone else that I'd also like credit for."

I wish more scalpers knew they were just straight up bad people. Pokemon Cards? Game consoles? Concert tickets? Whatever it is, you're "making a living" out of inconveniencing and depriving others of things they enjoy. All scalpers suck.

This is awesome! I just recently started a list of interesting words I hear or read to expand my vocabulary, and these are perfect additions! The lovely art on top of it all really helps solidify the concepts and make the words easier to remember and use. Amazing work!

Here's my own Palico Lola and her irl counterpart!

Something I REALLY appreciate in Monster Hunter is how Palicos aren't JUST cute or comedic relief. Your partner is often a very competent, brave, and well-honed hunter in their own right. I'm loving in Wilds how they are your truly your companion in arms and pull off some badass shit in the story.

If anyone happens to know if they have socials, definitely let me know, because I'd absolutely love to follow them if they post their creations.

I doubt they'll ever see this, but creator Gandalf (RA-0707-9226-0049) may be one of the best and most creative people on Animal Crossing Happy Home Paradise. Their designs are so creative and fun, and have so much passion put into them. I'd recommend anyone check them out.

This picture depicts Marshal's home that I custom designed in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The main room is L-shaped, and at the top of this L sits a piano on the left, and a record player on a table on the right. A small rectangular piano bench sits in front of the piano, and a cuckoo clock hangs over the piano. Several feet in front of the piano, near the center of the taller part of the L-shaped room is a couch that faces the same direction as the piano. In front of it, against the wall at the bottom of the L, is an end table with a type-writer upon it. In the center of the bottom horizontal section of the L shaped room, is the entrance to the house with a rectangular doormat in the doorway. In the far end of the smaller shape of the L is a kitchen set for cooking. Marshal and my villager character stand at the front of the room on either side of the corner of the inner L-shape. Marshal is a white squirrel with piercing half circle eyes tilted upwards, zigzag bangs, and a small upside-down v-shaped mouth. He has a large fluffy tail that is about the same size of his large adorable head that looks to be slightly too big for his tiny body. His expression looks like that of a subtle pout with an air of good humor. He wears a fashionable brown bomber jacket. He's quite a handsome squirrel. Not in a weird way. I swear. That's not my thing, but if there were any squirrle to be described as handsome, it would be Marshal. My villager is there too, I guess. He's got a pink tank top, full but short beard, and glasses. What he looks like isn't too important.

Spent a lot of time on a farmer's market, and customizing each of my villager's homes. I'd love any sort of feedback!

I didn't do a full restart but I just did the main chunk of HHP and have now been overhauling my island and villagers' homes! It's nice to be back, it's just a shame the playerbase isn't as big anymore.

VERY well put and about what I was thinking. I put the video on, and when he started making actual witch trial comparisons my wife and I made an audible "Eugh... " noise. Like you, I went in hopeful and came out thinking, "Either way, the language and rhetoric used puts a bad taste in my mouth."

I am happy to say I'm finally getting REALLY into Brothership and enjoying it a ton. 6-10 hours seems like a bit too long to get to the "good part" tho. But now that I'm at that good part, it is REALLY good.

Any of my ADHD peeps do that thing where you drain the bath while still sitting in it, and next thing you know you're bone dry cuz you've been sitting butt-ass naked on your phone for an hour?
