Still waiting for more information, but I'm utterly heartbroken to hear that my friend Dalton Webb has passed away. An amazing artist and a kind soul. This one really stings.

Mari Naomi broke the news on Facebook. I haven't seen anything from his family yet but I'm checking often. I know he was hospitalized earlier this year with some mysterious ailment. Anyway, a huge loss.

Protip for social media use: don't waste your time interacting with any accounts of people you don't know personally. Threads in particular seems especially apt to show you "controversial" content/rage bait just to boost engagement.

Good! Not a huge election or lots of surprises this year but PA retained the Democratic majority in the state supreme court.

Movies always show trick-or-treaters in very distinct, traditional costumes but in reality probably 90% of the kids who show up at my house on Halloween are wearing a random cape, mask, and sweatshirt combo.
