Volunteers represent peace, collaboration & friendship across the globe. And a vast majority continue service in their local communities when they return to the U.S. - on PTAs, civic associations, in state legislatures, etc. The need for service, respect & collaboration are more important than ever.

Yesterday, I joined around 170 other National Peace Corps Association advocates on Capitol Hill - urging Congress to at least maintain current funding for the Peace Corps and to honor nearly 250,000 Returned Peace Corps Volunteers with a Congressional Gold Medal.
