The way Ibou's form fell off a cliff earlier in the season makes me think it must have been an issue for quite a while. I did say at one point that he probably should have been benched for his own good but Slot definitely handled his absence and return to the fold well.

Excellent performance against a decent side. Two good steps in the right direction this past week. 💪❤️

Having an in-form Ibou in defence has made a huge difference to the team, these last three games. He has added a sense of security that has been sorely lacking.

I think Nyoni will be the next youngster out of the door next summer. Along with Ramsay, obviously.

Ramsay was very much at fault for one of the Palace goals. Generally he had a pretty decent game.

Mac Allister is an interesting one. He's obviously a quality footballer. Still only 27 but he looks burnt out, as he did at times in the first half of last season. Salah I think is just age finally catching up with him.

I find Slot very frustrating but I am not firmly in the Slot out crowd. He probably deserves the season after the title.
Questions have to be asked though. Why did Diaz want out? Why won't Konate sign a new contract? Why was Robbo apparently open to the Spurs move? Do they want to play for Slot?

It's another Liverpool game where I watch and think, what is the game plan here? How are we trying to move the ball out from defence to create goalscoring opportunities?

I think so too. He shouldn't have to play in defence but Slot clearly doesn't think Ramsay is competent enough to play. I think it's worth a gamble for one PL game.

This is similar to the first half an hour against Newcastle, only City are a better team. Our midfield is far too easy to play through. I feel we would be better with Szoboszlai in the middle.
