Closer inspection shows that the energy has slight facial features (eyes, mouth, nose). Note 1 - "Psychic energy appears! -> Drained?" Note 2 -"Loss of pupil + sclera. Twitches/contractions. Begin 12 hour study." 1 hr : Subject appears much less animated. His eyes remain pure purple and vacant. His expression is empty. Note - "Cognitive functions (down x2). Motor functions (down). Responsiveness (confirmed)." 6 hrs 18 mins : This is the only photo with Mell's head down. His hair obscures his face from the camera. Note - "Subject unconscious again (4). Falls asleep on command. Will broken (confirmed).
