a 3x3 grid showcasing art that i did this year. top left: my purple haired OC, Zara, standing in a parking garage. she looks ominously over her shoulder towards the camera while her eyes glow yellow. top middle: a drawing of alastor from hazbin hotel in my style during the private scene he has with husk. he has that crazed look in his eye as well as his signature yellow smile. top right: when steamboat willie became public domain, i drew the mouse doing the motorcycle scene from akira. it made me laugh the whole time i was drawing it. middle left: my OC, Zara, and walking towards the camera in a runway style walk. another ominous look in the eyes since the bangs cover up her face. her smile is bright and highlights a fang. i drew this to try out a new outfit on her. in the center is a selfie that i took, a peace sign mostly obscuring my face, but highlighting my wine red hair. middle right: during artfight 2k24, i drew someone’s FNAF OC. since she had puppet features, i thought it would be interesting to have her suspended like a puppet on strings. bottom left: a vent piece i drew when i was going through the beginning of a friend break-up. the inspiration was another art piece i found that showed someone’s despair amidst a war. i replaced the solider with myself in a cropped hoodie, shorts, and my hair is bright red. bottom middle: a drawing of my IRL friend who is a wonderful vocal musician. i wanted to draw them a birthday present that had a dress in a color they didn’t have at the time. its bright yellow and they have a pair of white shoes with calf-high white socks. bottom right: a self-portrait of myself in a room with the cool sliding wood doors with rice paper. the pose is intentionally stiff as the hands are splayed out on the table. my hair is purple.
