I just finished Timothy Skinner’s On Tyranny, written in 2017. It took less than 30 minutes. Two major takeaways: everything tyrannical that he cites has already happened; every positive action he advocated has happened and failed to slow the march of tyranny! He moved from Yale to U of T last year.
