Bed time for me (for the second time tonight!) after much fun delivering an online talk for the NOC. Eastern Standard Time is, horrifically, five hours behind the UK, so it's been a late night... but worth every moment to share colourful orchid tales with friends old and new.

I think this is Greater Stitchwort flowering rather early, and I only saw this single plant #WildflowerHour Or perhaps it's something else, although I'm not sure what else it might be #WildflowerID

The garden areas were blanketed with clusters of snowdrops at Loch Leven earlier this week. A sure sign that Spring is on its way.

Turned out to be a bit early today for scurvy-grass (Cochlearia) flowers, but what a perfect rosette...and just look at these gorgeous pink thrift (Armeria maritima) leaves!
A bit #vegetative for #wildflowerhour maybe, so an obliging dandelion too...
