Overworld [ON HIATUS]

OVERWORLD WILL BE GOING ON HIATUS due to the increasing difficulty of putting out new eps at the deadline (especially considering I still haven’t made this month’s deadline), I will be taking a hiatus to help me catch up and have a few finished episodes + have a bunch of wips and planning to help keep me ahead. I’m taking this now while my fanbase is still incredibly small and this won’t matter as much. I currently plan to return by the December update at the latest! In other, similar news, I’m looking for someone to color my episodes! - Volunteer position (possibility of payment in future) - non-demanding due to low episode output - Credits on every episode you work on - help me out a ton!! - Requirements: have discord + procreate(ideally) Dm me on tumblr or bluesky (@s1oths), or contact me on discord (s1oth_sketched) with questions or interest! Character Solton, a blue demon in a hawaiian shirt holding a gay pride flag and wearing a transgender pride pin. Someone who is transgender identifies as a different gender than their sex assigned at birth. FtM stands for female to male, as in someone who was born labeled female but later transitioned to male, and MtF is the other way around. Transgender does not necessarily denote someone who transitioned between the binary genders as it is an umbrella term for all non-cis gender identities as well. Someone who is gay is attracted to members of their own sex (gay usually refers specifically to men who are attracted to other men, but this is not always the case as it can be used as a general term for sexuality).

Character Scabs (he/they) and his rat Pinwheel, a green demon with a skull on his face. He is holding a pansexual (though he is panromantic) pride flag and an asexual pride flag. Someone who is pansexual/panromantic is someone who is attracted to all genders without a preference. Being panromantic specifies that the person is attracted romantically to all genders, but not necessarily sexually. Someone who is asexual does not experience sexual attraction nor sexual desire. This is a spectrum though and can vary from person to person.

Character Robin (she/they), who is a human and is black is wearing a navy button up shirt. She is holding a rainbow pride flag to represent her queer identity. Queer is a general term for someone who is not heterosexual/cisgender and is a more broader term people can identify with if they do not want to use specific labels. Because ‘queer’ used to be an insult against LGBT+ people, some people are still against its use but it has been widely reclaimed by the community and specifically identifying as queer has become more normalized and accepted in recently years.

Here is a note I wrote at the end of my message on the other platforms (and will be adding here due to the character limit on the main post): As well, I want to write that we cannot ignore that in the United States in 2025, queer and especially trans people are under attack by discriminatory laws as our president and politicians uses us as a scapegoat to ignore the country’s real problems. This pride month is incredibly important and we need to be reminded of the importance of our community as well as the fact that pride month is a protest and we need to fight to maintain our rights.

Happy pride month!! I drew the characters of my comic holding their flags and I wrote educational information about all of their identities in the ALT for each image :)
